What’s included in the price?
The private round-trip flight, private transfers between the airport and resort, your rounds at Muskoka Bay with carts and, on overnight trips, your four-bedroom villa. Your concierge also books and manages the reservations as part of the trip — the lounge chairs by the Skybar pool, the tables at both restaurants, and the timing around your golf. Food and drink are not in the price: you order what you like and settle it at the club. Prices are in CAD, plus tax, and we confirm the aircraft, tee times and rooms for your group before you book.
Where do we eat?
Three times in the day. Breakfast is at the Cliffside, the clubhouse dining room 300 feet above the course, before you tee off. On the course, snack and drink carts come through as you play, so the round never stops for lunch. Afterwards you go up to Muskoka Skybar, the rooftop on the hotel — a short shuttle from the clubhouse, which is why it sits at the end of the day rather than the middle. Food and drink are paid directly wherever you eat.
How long does the round take?
About four and a half hours for eighteen holes at Muskoka Bay. The day trip is built around that: a 10:00 tee time puts you off the 18th at half past two, with the rest of the afternoon at the Skybar before the flight home, and room to spare if the round runs long. Your tee time sets the rest of the hours, and your concierge books the time you want around what the club has open.
Do we need to be members at Muskoka Bay?
No. Your round is arranged through our partnership with the club, and the tee time is confirmed before you fly.
How many people can come?
The published price is based on four people. The PC-12 can carry up to six guests and their golf bags, subject to the workable load for the group. Bringing five or six? Your concierge confirms the extra rounds and rooming and re-quotes the same trip.
Do we need exact dates before we ask?
No. Choose the trip that interests you and share dates only if you have them. Your concierge can answer questions first, then check the aircraft, tee times and rooms when you are ready.
What aircraft do you fly?
A Pilatus PC-12 with club seating for up to six, an onboard lavatory, and room for the golf bags. Toronto to Muskoka is about twenty-five minutes in the air.
Where do we land?
Muskoka Airport (YQA) in Gravenhurst, fifteen minutes from the club gate. A car meets the plane and private transfers between the airport and resort are included.
How do we get to Billy Bishop?
Getting to Billy Bishop is the one leg you handle yourself — it’s downtown, minutes from the core, with parking steps from the plane. Everything after you board is included: a car meets the plane in Muskoka and brings you back for the flight home. If you’d like a car to Billy Bishop as well, your concierge will arrange one, quoted separately.
Can we host clients?
It’s what the same-day trip was built for. Breakfast at the clubhouse, a morning round at Muskoka Bay, then the rooftop at the Skybar, with no overnight ask and everyone home for dinner. Meals are paid directly; your concierge arranges everything else with the club.
What if weather affects the flight?
The applicable weather and change terms are shown in your confirmed quote before you approve it. If conditions affect the flight, your concierge explains the options under those terms.
Who operates the flight?
NectAir operates the flight on a Pilatus PC-12 under Transport Canada requirements.
Do we have to arrange any of it?
No. One NectAir concierge arranges the flight, the transfers, the tee times and, on overnight trips, the villa. Meals are the exception and are paid directly.
Can you build a trip beyond Muskoka Bay?
Yes. Muskoka Bay is a Freed resort, alongside Deerhurst and Horseshoe, and we fly to destinations across Ontario and Québec. Tell us the occasion and your concierge will build the trip.
