Careers at NectAir

Let’s build the future of air mobility.

We are building something that has not been done before, and we are looking for driven, detail-focused people who want to be part of it. On the flight deck and on the ground.

How we fly

We fly our Pipers and PC-12s as if they were widebody jets.

We are not another light-turbine charter operator. Our flight operations leadership brought fifty years and fifty thousand hours of major-airline experience with them, and that is what shaped how we fly.

Before pushback
Both pilots brief the route, the weather, the fuel and the alternates, and agree who is flying. Nothing is left assumed.
On every leg
One pilot flies and one monitors. The actions that matter are called out and confirmed between them, on a forty-minute hop as much as on a long one.
Through the year
Recurrent training and line evaluation that goes past what the regulator asks for, run by crews who came from major airlines.

The path

Two routes to a command.

The usual way to the majors runs through instruction and then a regional airline. It works. Most of our pilots are here because they would rather fly this.

The usual route

  1. Flight instructionCircuits in a single, building time an hour at a time.
  2. A regional airlineThe right seat on a fixed network, upgrading by seniority.
  3. A majorOnce the hours and the list allow.

Through NectAir

  1. Flight instructionThe same start.
  2. First officerTwo-crew turbine from your first week, on airline procedures, rarely the same route twice.
  3. CaptainA command when you are assessed ready for one, not when a list reaches you.

The flying

Dynamic, hands-on, and you see the result.

Charter is a different job from a fixed network, and it tends to give better work-life balance than a regional roster.

No two weeks alike
Different routes, different airports and different missions, rather than one rotation on repeat.
More of the operation is yours
You plan it, you fly it and you carry it through to the turnaround. Far more of the trip is in your hands than in a seat on a fixed network.
You meet the people you flew
Our passengers thank the crew at the aircraft. That is rare in this industry, and it lands on the people who earned it.

Join our team

What comes with the job.

We are not a big airline, and that is the point. You would join a close-knit team where your ideas matter and your work makes a real impact, blending the energy of a startup with the expertise of seasoned aviation professionals.
